Tomorrow Never Dies: Paris Carver’s Sapphire Splendor

In the 1997 movie “Tomorrow Never Dies,” Teri Hatcher’s character, Paris Carver, steals the spotlight with her stunning jewelry. A standout piece is a 25-carat sapphire ring set with white diamonds, paired with a unique, scalloped platinum necklace with over 25 carats of white diamonds.

This necklace proved so captivating that David Morris received countless requests to make it available for purchase. The brand’s association with the Bond franchise was further strengthened when it was the only jeweler invited to participate in an exhibition at The Barbican celebrating 50 years of Bond’s impeccable style.

Casino Royale: Vesper Lynd’s Enduring Love Knot

In 2006’s Casino Royale, Eva Green’s character, Vesper Lynd, introduced audiences to the Algerian Love Knot pendant. Designed by jeweler Sophie Harley specifically for the film, the necklace has become one of the most enduring and iconic pieces of Bond jewelry.

Crafted from oxidized silver with gold plating, the necklace features granulated scrolls, multi-layered chains and intricate engravings that evoke a sense of ancient mysticism. The Algerian Love Knot played a pivotal role in the film’s storyline and was later featured in the sequel, Quantum of Solace.

Skyfall: Sévérine’s Seductive Serpent

In 2012’s “Skyfall,” Bérénice Marlohe’s character, Sévérine, captivated audiences with her seductive style. One standout piece of jewelry was the Queen Cobra ring, designed by renowned British jeweler Stephen Webster.

This edgy, rock ‘n’ roll design features a glittering snake wrapped around a large crystal, symbolizing the forbidden fruit and serving as a visual reference to Sévérine’s role in the plot. The Queen Cobra ring, along with other pieces created for the film, was part of a commercial collection sold by Swarovski to commemorate the film’s release.

On Her Majesty’s Secret Service: The Wedding Ring

Charles de Temple is another designer who has a special link to the James Bond movies. In 1964, de Temple was asked to make the ring that Honor Blackman wore to the London opening of Goldfinger. This chance led to a bigger part in the next movie, “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service,” where Diana Rigg played Contessa Teresa di Vicenzo and James Bond married her.

Their unique, hand-made, two-tone gold wedding ring, which said “All the Time in the World,” became a famous sign of their love. The original rings were only made in two pieces. In 2019, one of them sold at a Sotheby’s sale for an amazing £52,500.
